This clip eerily mirrors the educational battle in Clark County. Based on actual events, two moms took the battle of a self-serving school district to the community. The community took a stand and forced change. We are not the first and we won’t be the last. Every community of citizens and educators who united against the system won. We can too. Stand Up Clark County. We’re on the brink of something big.
This email is about the Community Eligibility Option. At the time the majority of the public wanted to participate. Elaine determined it was good for us despite evidence from other counties. Was she right? Time will tell. But the point with this email is that Judy & Elaine are discussing a PR plan to convince us to go with their plan. Why? The board is voted in by the community. The superintendent is hired by the board. Therefore, they all work for us. They seem to have forgotten that. Their slogan of “One Community, One Vision, Excellence” does ring true. They consider themselves as the community, they have their distorted vision & they certainly think they’re excellent. Stand Up Clark County & demand to be heard
